Santa sent many helpers this season to bring toys, gifts and smiles to Arkansas foster children.

JT Line Dancers of Little Rock
JT Line Dancers is a nonproft organization dedicated to advancing the joy and transformative power of line dancing. Board member Lisa Burley has spearheaded THINC’s own annual Books, Bears and Blankets Drive for several years and in 2024, she asked her fellow line dancers to step up. The group promoted the drive on KATV in November and just a few weeks later delivered plenty of books, stuffed animals and blankets–enough to bring comfort and joy to Arkansas foster children not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.
Modern Woodmen of America
We were deeply grateful to be selected as the recipient of the Modern Woodmen of America Matching Fund Project. Modern Woodmen representatives Pamela Thomas Nelson and Lydia Davis delivered a $2,500 check to us as a matching donation to the sale of gingerbread decorating house kits during our Gingerbread Extravaganza on December 8, 2024, at the Arkansas State Capitol.
US Air Force Base Toy Drive
SrA Katalina Nobbley of the Jacksonville Air Force Base selected us as recipient of the annual Christmas Toy Drive. Her staff delivered boxes of toys for children and youth to our office.
Rainwater Holt & Sexton “Difference Maker” Award
The lawfirm Rainwater Holt & Sexton recognized our work with the “Difference Maker” Award in December. The lawfirm presented us with a $1,000 check to support our mission.
Accepting the award were board member Paula Patterson, founding THINC member Jim Miles and his daughter Barbara who were interviewed by FOX16 about their experiences with the Arkansas foster system.
