Do you hear what I hear?
Gingerbread Extravaganza, our beloved coloring and decorating contest, is returning this year in virtual format.
While the coloring and decorating will happen in your kitchen and at your craft table, voting will take place online, and the winners will be announced during a Facebook live on Sunday, December 12, 2 – 3 pm, at the Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda.
Join us. Here are two ways you can participate:
1. Gingerbread House Decorating Competition (children and adults)
- Pick up a gingerbread kit from the Treatment Homes office at 700 West Fourth Street, Little Rock, AR 72201, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The kits are priced $15 (small), $20 (medium) and $35 (mansion).
- Download and complete this registration form and email it to gbhouse@treatmenthomes.org no later than December 10.
- At home, decorate the gingerbread house however you please and take a couple of close-up photos with your cell phone.
- Email the photos of your decorated masterpieces, along with your name and contact information, to gbhouse@treatmenthomes.org no later than December 10.
- Beginning on Friday, December 10, through Sunday, December 12, noon, visit our Facebook page and “like” your favorite(s). The photo with the most “likes” wins the VIEWERS CHOICE AWARD.
- Tune in to our Facebook page for a live webcast, 2 – 3 pm, to hear the winner announcements.

TEAM: $100 Gift Card
YOUTH: Grades 7- 12: $75 Gift Card, Grades 4 – 6: $50 Gift Card, Grades K– 3: $25 Gift Card
2. Holiday Coloring Contest (Grades PreK-5th)
- If your school is participating, your young artist in grades PreK-5 may have already received instructions of how to participate. If not, download and print this coloring sheet.
- Mail your child’s completed entry by December 6 to Treatment Homes, Inc., P.O. Box 1400, Little Rock, AR 72203.
- Tune in to our Facebook page for a live webcast on Sunday, December 12, 2 pm to 3 pm, for the winner announcements.
